I first started painting about 8 years ago, while living in New Orleans.   With no formal art training and a passion to create,  I started taking photos of the wild, and most of the time, surreal beauty only the French Quarter can offer.

Using these images as references, I work in my own style of photo-realism.  For an artist, I think the best feeling in the world is to stand back and take in the finished product.   I want my paintings to all have a good 'feel' to them, something that gives you energy with a glance.
